Praise be to Allah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger

O you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allah.

O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you.

O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth.

He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise).

The truest of word is the Book of Allah and best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The worst of things are those that are newly invented; every newly-invented thing is an innovation and every innovation is going astray, and every going astray is in the Fire.

Usman Ibne Zayd (ra) said Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
A man will be brought on the day of Resurrection and will be cast into the Hell, and his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone.
The people of the Hell-Fire will gather round him and say: "What happened to you, O so-and-so'? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us from doing evil?"
He will reply: "Yes, I was enjoining you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you from doing evil, but was doing it myself".

This is a tremendous hadith. It shows that the one who enjoins the good and forbids the evil, it is obligatory upon him to do what he says. He doesn't command the people while not implementing it himself. Allah warns against this.

Allah (SWT) said to the Children of Israel, "Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allah) on the people and you forget (to practice it) yourself, while you recite the scripture (Taurat)! have you then no sense? (2:44)

Allah (SWT) said, "O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do? Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do" (61:2-3)

So the one who enjoins the good and forbids the evil, it is obligatory upon him to do it himself! So that people believe him and follow him. As for if he enjoins the good and forbids the evil and doesn't do it, the people will say he's a liar and they won't believe him and they won't o what he says. If what he says is correct then he would do it himself.
The is one aspect. The second aspect is on the Day of Judgement, the one who enjoins good and doesn't it, and the one who forbids evil and does it, he will be brought on the Day of Judgment and will be cast in the Hell fire, the first one to be cast into the fire. His intestines will spill out from the severe punishment and he will go round his intestines as a donkey goes around a millstone.

A man will be brought on the day of Resurrection and will be cast into Hell, and his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone. **** CONTINUE WITH KHUTBA ****
